Power of Moms is all about moms helping other moms become the mothers and people they really want to be. We're a gathering place for deliberate mothers interested in growing through motherhood – not just going through motherhood. Our overall vision is to offer moms around the world the chance to “network” with other moms who share their same values, motivations, hopes and dreams. We aim to help moms take care of the person inside the mom, while taking care of their families.
Okay that was just hilarious. And true.
You know you’re a mom when… your toddler dumps an entire box of Cheerios on the living room carpet, screams his head off, and instead of reaching for the vacuum, you crack up and reach for the video camera on your phone! That is, until his older brother starts smooshing them into the carpet with his feet as he walks through them, shoveling handfuls of them into his mouth. THEN you quickly drop your phone, use your mommy voice, (“Wait, sweetie, no, no, no!!) and grab the vacuum!
You know you’re a mom when you have dinner all over you but haven’t had a chance to eat any yet.
So funny! I can relate to the bathroom one. I’ve totally been there, entertaining children and all….
You know you’re a mom if you see a train and have a great desire to say “Look there’s a choo-choo train!” to whomever you are with, even when your two-year-old son is not with you.
I totally get the bathroom thing. I sit my son down with his feet in the sink. He is 18 months. He is close enough to keep an eye on, but not so close to the toilet paper… which before I sat him with his feet in the sink, he would have fun making a mess off. Now I have an 18 month old, and 2 cats who like to sit and watch me use the bathroom.
