(You’ll want to listen to the podcast for the details, but here are the six reasons, in case you want to see them first!)
(1) We are not alone.
(2) Children would rather have an imperfect mom who is struggling to be better than no mom at all.
(3) There is beauty all around us. We just need to train ourselves to see it.
(4) We have a purpose that’s uniquely ours.
(5) This life isn’t just about us.
(6) Today is not forever.

Oh, how this was so needed today. Thank you!
So glad it was helpful, Ashley! xoxo
Great webinar. I laughed out loud about the bad haircut. I had one of those in the middle of a very stressful time. On top of the situation the bad haircut was just hard!! Glad I am not the only one. Also, I said this day will not last forever to myself several times today. Other mantras, this too shall pass. Keep the end in mind.
Thanks so much, Aly! I think everyone needs a bad haircut at least ONCE in their life so that they’ll appreciate the good ones. 🙂 Love your mantras. We need those!
This was beautiful April. I listened on my morning walk and I had to wipe away tears a few times 🙂 thank you!
April, I loved this. I just needed to hear this today! Tears and smiles as I listened. 🙂 Thank-you for your kind, gentle voice speaking about the real challenges that many of us face – wanting to give up when mothering is hard and not what we pictured. What a blessing!
You have blessed my day April! Thank you for your candid honesty. I truly felt understood and loved while listening to you read and share. You helped me shift and now I’m hopeful. Thank you!
This has been one of my favorite audio posts, April. It was a sincere pep talk that helped me out this morning 🙂
So glad. Thank you! (Today’s been one of those “harder” days for me, so it’s nice to know our work at Power of Moms makes a difference. :))
