It is SO easy to say no–especially when our children want to do something messy, time-consuming, or inconvenient. But what if we all decided to say “Yes!” just a little more often?
Join Catherine Arveseth and April Perry as they share some powerful experiences and personal stories that will give you some GREAT food for thought that applies to children of all ages.

April said to Catherine at the end of the interview, “I wish we were neighbors!” Well, I just moved near Catherine, so I am excited to get to know her better and learn from her example to say YES to my kids more! Thanks for this interview, April, and for all you are doing to make our “mom world” a more powerful and beautiful place to be.
You are SO lucky, Amy!!!! Thank you for your wonderful comment. xo
Thank you for the great podcast! I wanted to add that one of the things that keeps me from saying yes to my preschooler is that I’m afraid it will set a precedent. If I say yes to him climbing into our bed and snuggling in the middle of the night once, will he start doing it every night? I’m starting to learn that the answer is no–saying yes to something special once in a while doesn’t set a precedent that’s hard to undo. It’s okay to say yes to sticks on the house once in a while or ice cream for dinner on a special day or whatever. It doesn’t undo all routines to let loose a little now and then. Thanks again for the great food for thought.
