We all go into parenting with certain hopes and expectations for our children. How do we handle it when things don’t turn out as we’d planned? What do we do when our children seem to really struggle to embrace the qualities and pursuits that we feel are important to their happiness and success? How can we respect them as individuals with their own unique abilities and interests while still helping them learn what we feel strongly that they need to learn?
Join Saren and Holly Hamilton-Bleakely, PhD as they discuss how we can figure out our REAL purpose in parenting while helping our children develop into the people they are meant to be.

Thank you for this podcast! I think it’s my favorite one (and I love all of them ). I really needed that reminder because I feel like it is so easy to lose sight of what is really important especially in this ultra competitive society. Sometimes I get caught up in wanting to raise Ivy league/ sports stars….but right now I am really looking forward to them coming home from school so I can pour my love on them. Thank you!
