As springtime comes to much of the world, many deliberate mothers are thinking about getting outside more, starting or improving their exercise routines, and eating a little more healthfully.
In this week’s Radio Show, April and Saren share what they’ve learned about diet and exercise and explain how what we LOOK like matters much less than how we FEEL.
Our children don’t care whether we’re a bit jiggly. They just want us to have the energy to play with them. Our husbands and friends want us to be happy and feel good about ourselves more than they’d want us to look a certain way. And when we focus on becoming stronger and healthier for the right reasons, it’s easier to stay motivated.

This is such a great way to cover this issue. Thanks for sharing your perspectives. One thought that helps me is, “You never look back on your day and regret exercising.” You never say, I wish I had never gone on that run, or stretched for 10 minutes. I am always happy I have done it, no matter how hard it is to get started. I am like Saren, and I physically need exercise to feel balanced, so it is a priority. If I go two or three days without it I can get really depressed. So I do it everyday, and it is great to see my little kids following my example even when they are playing. I know it is hard when kids are toddlers, but it is worth any effort for me.
I’m impressed, I must say. Actually not often do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you will have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the problem is one thing that not sufficient people are speaking intelligently about. I’m very joyful that I stumbled across this in my search for something referring to this.
