Fall finally feels like it’s in full swing. I love seeing the fall leaves displaying their full colors and pumpkins suddenly showing up on my neighbors’ porches. And now that it’s cooler, the idea of snuggling up on the couch with my family to watch a movie is sounding more and more like a great way to spend an evening. But finding good, family-friendly Halloween movies that aren’t too scary can be a real challenge. Thankfully, our friend Jennifer Brimhall over at Raise the Good has made this list for us: 10 (Non-Horror) Halloween Movies for the Family.
My kids are still little (three and five), so I think this weekend we’ll be popping popcorn, grabbing a cozy blanket, and watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!
QUESTION: What other Halloween or fall movies does your family enjoy?
CHALLENGE: Choose something simple to do as a family this week to connect: watch a movie, go for a walk and collect fall leaves, make Halloween decorations, or do some other activity your family enjoys.
