Our trips to local parks have proved to be a great way to spend time connecting with friends, enjoying the sunshine and getting the kids out to play. Our kids have found it very easy to pick up a few things of garbage each to make a difference. This has in no way been a struggle, we have been able to keep it fun and they know that it is important. Every time before we leave we look around and each child has picked up 2-3 things. It has become like a game to see how quickly they can find their items. We have wipes handy of course and we have discussed what not to pick up as well. Most of the time, they even find more than we asked them to without a complaint. Our park time has always been a blast but taking just a few moments to help clean up the places we love has added a new level to our play, we all feel that we are doing our part for the world. I hope you have found the same in your efforts. Something so simple, when we are all united in this effort in our own corners of the world, will make a huge difference to our planet and our future!
