Sometimes it feels like the only people who truly understand our lives are other deliberate mothers.
The level of chaos our children can create everyday is astounding, and it’s common for us to get unraveled–to forget who we really are and how important our family work is.
If you’ve found yourself in that boat lately, here are four tips that can help.
They’re simple. Nothing glamorous here. But try even one and we think you’ll see a difference in how you see yourself.

I just listened to today’s podcast and all I can say is THANK YOU. Your words truly made me smile and made me feel better that I am not the only one going through the mayhem. I love your ideas and definitely will be checking out Evernote.
“Remember the good things and telling the good parts of the story,” are definitely things I need to work on. You’re absolutely right, we tend to linger on the negatives, instead of looking at all the things we did manage to get done, all the smiles we managed to get from out little ones, and the loving hugs and cuddles we received for just being MOM. Thank you and can’t wait to keep listening to the Power of Moms podcasts. ♡

Thank you so much! This was such a nice, peaceful, uplifting thing to listen to as the youngest of my children and I sat at the table and ate lunch. I can relate to your words about chaos, but I find peace with the knowledge that raising a family comes with at least a little amount of chaos for everybody. I’m so thankful to have an uplifting website to go to that helps me continue to feel inspired and joyful about raising my children–day in and day out. Thanks!

Tiffany, I smiled at the thought of getting to be “at” the table with you and your daughter. Chaos is definitely par for the course around here (nerf bullets are whizzing by me as I type). Glad we all have each other. If there’s anything you’d like to hear us podcast about here at Power of Moms, please let us know!

Thanks for this uplifting podcast. It reminded me to keep my focus and savor the good rather than enhance the bad. I felt of your genius love for us and for what you do and that means a lot!
