Building on what Saren learned and thought about during her grandmother’s funeral, April and Saren discuss the things they hope their children and grandchildren will be able to say about them one day. They offer concrete and simple suggestions for being the kind of deliberate moms we really mean to be now so that we can leave a beautiful legacy of love and learning.

I loved the 9-minutes-a-day principle and the encouragement that we don’t have to perfect 100% of the time for our children to remember the good times. Great job ladies!
I listened to this while sorting laundry this morning and it really resonated with me. I have been thinking of how my children will remember me a lot lately and know I want to change some things about my mothering. I heard a saying yesterday that I’ve had on my mind since then and it goes perfectly with what you ladies talk about in the podcast. I don’t know who said it, but here it is: “The things you do for yourself are gone when you are, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.” Thanks for all you do to help us moms!
