Based on a post Saren wrote a while back, this “audio post” episode offers great ideas on how we can more happily accept the hard stuff that is inevitably part of our lives as mothers while figuring out how to decrease or eliminate some things that just aren’t working for us.

I listened to this as I was getting ready this morning, and I loved this! It was a great way to start my day, with a reminder to keep my attitude positive and that if things don’t work out as I’ve planned, that’s ok. I especially loved when you said, “Acceptance takes me a long way towards happiness.” Today I will accept the challenges that are in my life instead of getting mad or upset when something comes up. Thank you both for the time and energy you put into POM. This has been one my favorite website I’ve ever come across!

Thanks for listening and for letting me know this was helpful to you! I’m having one of those hard days myself and needed to be reminded – yet again – that acceptance is an important part of happiness!
Please share this podcast and website with all the moms you know who might enjoy it.

Love this! I love being organized… charts, routines, schedules, spreadsheets, lists… all make me happy. Life happens and kids don’t follow along. Learning to be flexible and to let stuff go is difficult for me, but this audio post came at a perfect time. Baby #4 is arriving in a couple months and I know it will be chaos for a while. Thank you for this fabulous reminder. I just love Power of Moms and all that I learn from it! What a blessing!

I have found that no matter what is going on in my life…if I don’t have a decent attitude then life is a lot harder. My husband has kindly helped me realize that I need to keep things in check, because my mood effects the family mood. Who knew! Thanks for the reminder.

Thank you so much for these podcasts! I love listening to these as I work at night. I always want to read the articles but find it easier to listen to the podcasts while I am working. I had to laugh out loud about the part where you have everybody ready to go in the car and without a doubt – the babies have a diaper blow out. So funny, why does that always happen? I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one 🙂

Listened to this during my morning workout. I so needed this reminder today. We’ve recently made the adjustment to 3 kids and we are in the middle of searching for a home to buy which has made us chronically busy and late. Need to adjust the light I shine on the situation – thanks!

Wow! I loved listening to this! I love using the phrase, “Whatever happens, it’s going to be OK.” in my home. I remind the children of this often, but today I needed the reminder. Thank you Saren! Have a blessed day and keep up your awesome work at Power of Moms. You truly are making a difference.
