If you have ever felt stressed out over the incredible amount of “stuff” on your plate and in your mind, you are absolutely normal.
I don’t even need to describe it in detail because you know what I’m talking about, but here’s a start:
You’re out of dish detergent, the library books are overdue, you need to call the allergist, pretzel crumbs are sprinkled all over the floor of your pantry, the children need school binders and glue sticks, you’ve got about 1000 emails in your inbox, coupons are piled on the kitchen counter, you’ve got a toothache, you still haven’t unpacked from the family camping trip, and every time you turn around, someone’s asking for something while someone else is hanging on your leg.
Peace of mind, a clear kitchen counter, the ability to actually move your projects forward, and the knowledge that everything is “under control” seem like unattainable ideals.
Mothers, in general, are overwhelmed. I know that, and you know that.
But what do we do about it?
Here at The Power of Moms, we offer a powerful, life-changing program called Mind Organization for Moms that is helping thousands of women worldwide. I love this program, and I’ve poured my heart into it, but sometimes you need to sit next to a real live person and sort through the jumble of thoughts you have going on in your brain while actually seeing first-hand how this organization program works.
You need to ask questions, go through exercises that specifically address your needs, and make progress on your overall goals in a relaxing, comforting environment.
So I had this idea . . .
What if I invited a small group of moms to my home for an in-depth Mind Organization training?
We could meet together on a weekend for a few hours, and we could experience a powerful Mind Organization training unlike any I’ve ever conducted before.
Normally, I have a “travel kit” with sample files and cubbies to demonstrate this organization system. But in my home, I can show you the real thing and walk you through how I actually organize my stuff and my projects.
Typically we have 40-60 women at each M.O.M. training session we hold. My living room can only hold about 10–but just think of the discussions we could have!
If you’d like to come visit my house–and return home with an exact plan for getting your mind and your papers to that beautiful, organized state you’ve always dreamed about–I would love to make it happen.
So here are the details:
Date and Time: Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9-11:30am
Location: Near Riverside, California at the home of April Perry (The address will be sent to you once you’ve signed up. The home is about 40 minutes east of Disneyland and 90 minutes north of San Diego.)
Cost:
- $85 for those who already have the full Mind Organization for Moms program plus the M.O.M. in Two Weeks Program
- $105 for those who have Mind Organization for Moms, but not the add-on M.O.M. in Two Weeks Program
- $145 for the entire package–including the training and both online programs (worth $78)
More about the workshop: Each attendee will be asked to review the Mind Organization for Moms program and complete a couple of simple assignments before the date of the training so we can jump right in to the heart of the system, answer your pressing questions, and give you a chance to see my system first-hand, and let you practice your skills. When you leave, you will be poised to successfully implement the step-by-step M.O.M. in Two Weeks program and achieve the organization and productivity of your dreams. (The date is fast approaching now, but don’t worry–even if you’re a new-comer, you’ll be able to jump right in.)
We’ll have some healthy snacks at the house, and then for those who would like to head out to lunch afterwards, we’ll carpool to a local restaurant and enjoy further conversation while we eat. (Lunch will be purchased individually, and average prices are between $6 and $10. You can also bring a sack lunch, if you’d like.)
What I’m offering isn’t just another “seminar” or a few hours away from your family. I’m offering you the chance to finally get your mind to rest–and to put you into a position that you can truly enjoy your relationships. I know how it feels to be stressed out, always in “reactive” mode, and running all day from one thing to the next. But life doesn’t have to be that way. This workshop will be pivotal in your life–helping you to get a handle on the everyday emails, housework, errands, phone calls, and projects–and give you the space to actually dream.
As a little note, I’d like to make sure that everyone is clear that this is NOT part of a “Parade of Homes.” My home is modest, I’m not an interior decorator, we might not yet have our dry wall repaired around the fireplace, and there will most likely be toys in the living room. I’m going to teach you to calm your mind in the midst of the chaos and stay on top of your life–not how to make a house look like no one lives in it. (Just wanted to make sure the expectations are clear!)
We will have a wonderful time together, and I will do my very best to take excellent care of you.
**Babies: Non-mobile, generally quiet nursing babies are most welcome to attend. Please plan to take the baby out if he or she becomes disruptive.
*** Cancellation Policy: Now that it’s so close to the date, we are not able to offer refunds, but we can credit what you paid towards a future Retreat or offer you a half-price refund – whichever you’d prefer. If someone else wants to take your place (someone you know or someone from our waiting list, if we have one), we are happy to refund your money in full up to 2 days in advance of the Workshop.
If you have questions, concerns or special financial needs, please email MOMWorkshop(at)powerofmoms.com. We’ll do everything we can to make it possible for you to attend.
So excited to meet you!
