KeymasterIn our latest M.O.M. post about streamlined, digital lists, we featured “ToDo” by Appigo. Do you have any others that you like?

ParticipantI use ActionComplete for Android. I love it! It syncs to an online version of the same program so I have my action lists on the computer or my phone, whichever is convenient.

ParticipantI love ToDo also for my Immediate Action list. Another app that has come in handy is called “Our Groceries.” It syncs automatically between my husband’s phone and mine. We use it for way more than groceries. You can create a separate list for every store you ever visit. Then when you notice something that you’re low on or need you add it to the list. If my husband or I ever stop by a store we check the list. Saves so many extra trips and keeps track of unimportant things that wouldn’t have made it to my “errands” list! (Available free for iPhones–you can pay if the ads bother you).

ParticipantI really like GTasks for Android. It has a lot of the same qualities and features that ToDo does so it was easy for me to set up my digital system following Sarah’s videos. It links to my Google Calendar as well which is awesome!

ParticipantI also like “week calendar” for my digital calendar. I find that the display is much easier to navigate than the standard calendar that comes with the iPhone. It still syncs with my google calendar and is so worth the couple dollars. Mostly I love that I can see a whole week or even month overview with actual writing. The other calendar just shows dots where events are. I like being able to see an overview of more than one day at a time when I’m scheduling!
I was a religious paper planner girl until 6 months ago. I have to say that going digital on everything was easier than I thought and the benefits are awesome! I love how having a digital synced calendar on my husband & my phone has given him more involvement in planning for our life. Suddenly he has just as much control in scheduling things. Before he would have to consult me & my planner to add things to the schedule. We have less coordination conversations because we both have access to all the info! I highly recommend trying it even if you love your paper. It’s so great to carry your whole system in your pocket!!!

KeymasterOkay, you gals are inspiring me. My husband just got an iPhone, and I think having a digital calendar would really help out. I’m very seriously considering it. Thanks!

ParticipantI use Cozi and really like it. I can use it on my phone or home computer. Everything I add to it automatically updates everywhere including my hubby phone and teenage son’s phone when needed. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEJQIwNnDlA

Participant“Our Groceries” is great! We use it for a lot of lists…including when the kids see something they want to buy at the store but don’t have money for. They tell us to add it to their list. It keeps away the “I want this” and “I want that”. Plus, when I have a birthday coming up, I have a built in list of ideas.

ParticipantI bought my iphone just before heading to the LA retreat. It has definitely opened so many doors for me as a mother. I love the way that I can keep all I need from my finances to my “to-do’s” to my calendar and groceries. My husband and I are in sync most of the time now with our budget and expenses, with “Homebudget”. We keep track of our Family Economy with “Bank of Mom” He is more aware on a daily basis what I am doing and what the kids have going. We use There really is a positive side to all technology!

ParticipantI love google calendar, especially because it allows to have multiple calendars indifferent colors and to display them only when you want to see them. I have a calendar for me, one for my husband and I (shared), one for each of my kids (for activities, doctor appointment, parent-teacher conference etc…) shared also with my husband.
I’ve also created calendars I call “activities for…” each of my kids/me/ my husband and I, so when I see an event or a yoga class for example, I might want go to, I note it under these calendars, and when I’m looking for a idea for a date or for an activity for my kids, it’s really convenient. Those are usually hidden and I display them only when i need them, like when I’m planning our week for instance. Finally, I have a calendar for work appointments and deadlines, and another one called “child care” (which would be better called, “kids are not under my direct watch”, because it includes school etc..), this one is usually hidden, but I display it when I want to book an appointment I have to go without my kids.
I’m still looking for a good apps for my todos and so far, I didn’t find something I like. any advice?
