Power of Moms Co-Director, Saren, spent a solid month visiting the 12 oldest National Parks in the west last summer (camping the whole way!). In this week’s episode, Saren shares how this all came about and what her family gained through this wild and wonderful adventure.

This was fantastic thank you! Can you please link that article you guys referenced? I’d love to read it!
The link is there now – sorry about that!
That quotation you recited, Saren–I love it! The one about hard things becoming easier? Where is it from?
Ralph Waldo Emerson
That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the nature of the task has changed, but our ability to do has increased. 🙂
Thanks for that podcast, I love the idea of helping your children experience ‘awe’ especially out in nature. It gives me the motivation to go camping with our family. Though it’s always rainy where we live so it’s a bit off putting, more for us parents not so much for the kids though I guess.
I really enjoyed this podcast – please know how much we all appreciate all you do and teach us!
