Power of Moms has been a gathering place for deliberate mothers for the past seven years, and this week we are thrilled to announce the release of our brand new website design.
We’ve spent many, many hours working closely with Zach Swinehart, our incredibly talented designer (who you can learn more about at the bottom of this post), to take our website to a whole new level of design and functionality. Now we’d love to give you a tour and show you how this website can be an even greater source of strength to your whole family.
(1) First, Our Homepage Will Help New Friends Get Started and Understand Our Focus
Over the past few years, we’ve had lots of moms comment that they weren’t sure what their next step should be once they got to our home page. We’ve tried to make it super easy with the new design!
(2) Power of Moms Now Works BEAUTIFULLY on Mobile Devices
With more than 60% of our visitors using a smart phone or tablet to visit our site, we wanted to make it really easy to read, listen, and connect with this vibrant community of more than 35,000 mothers from a mobile device. If you’re not on your phone reading this now, make a point to pull up powerofmoms.com on your phone or tablet when you get a chance. You’ll love it! Here’s a sneak peek:
Simply click on the yellow and blue bars to see all the menu options and take yourself to exactly what want.
And the new format makes reading a post on your phone very easy and pleasant.
(3) Our Content Menu Will Help You Find Exactly What You Need
There are hundreds of amazing posts on Power of Moms. And we’ve now categorized everything for you so you can pick your “pain point” and see what we have for you!
All our posts, podcasts, videos, and programs are organized into four main categories, conveniently located in the blue bar under our logo (along with nice little icons to make them extra user-friendly).
Hover over any of the four categories in the blue menu bar and you’ll see the the subcategories that go with it. Then hover over any of the subcategories and you’ll see five posts you might be interested in as well as an option to see more posts on the topic (see where it says “see more posts in this category” in blue below the pictures?). Try it. We think you’ll like it.

You can also find a post or podcast addressing your need by using the Search Tool at the top right. Type in some key words and it will bring up lots of great material for you!
(4) We Have a New System for Member Login and Program Access
Logging in to access your Free Member Package or paid programs has never been easier (or prettier . . . we love the new colors!). We’ve also installed a brand new system that manages access to your free member programs and the programs you’ve purchased. This program should alleviate the bugs we were occasionally experiencing before when people were trying to access programs. So if you haven’t yet checked out all the programs we have to offer, now’s a great time! (Just click on “Programs” in the green bar at the top of the site.)

(5) Plus, We’ve Updated Our Logo, Fonts, Styles and Buttons
It’s feels kind of like getting new paint, carpet, and furniture in your house. The love in the home is still the same, but now it just looks prettier!

(It can be hard to choose bathroom towels…imagine what it’s like trying to decide on a thousand little details for a website!)
Seriously, though, Zach is sharp, quick, professional, ultra-talented, and so great to work with.
His name and link will always be at the bottom of our website, so you can come back anytime to find him, but we wanted to be sure to let you know that this new design would never have been possible without him.
