I (April) had the privilege this week of being interviewed on Erik Fisher’s incredible podcast, Beyond the To-Do List.
Erik was kind enough to let me feature a portion of this recording here on Power of Moms Radio, and I’m really excited to share it with you!
In this interview, we talk about how moms can increase their productivity by creating a seamless system for papers, tasks, projects, and emails, and I further explain how I’ve applied the principles of Getting Things Done to motherhood.
It’s not just about productivity, though. It’s about wanting something more in our lives than what we currently have. It’s about getting the most out of every opportunity and making sure that we’re doing the work we’re truly meant to do. It’s about feeling hope every single day.
Hope you enjoy the podcast! I’d love to hear your questions or comments below.
Such great information! Your attitude is so motivating. Thank you, April.
This was WONDERFUL April! I listened to it on a long road trip, and not only did it keep me awake but it was super fun and inspiring! I want to look into more about your machine and Mind Organizations for Moms. Thanks as always for being you. You are changing lives!
Mindy, you are so sweet. Thank you for the kind words. On a day like today, when everything seemed to go so slowly (with lots of glitches!), your encouragement made a big difference. 🙂 Grateful for you.
Just ran out late last night after kids were tucked in bed to buy a planner excitedly 🙂 There’s something about old-school visible paper that I feel makes a big difference. I created our “inbox” yesterday and started going through it. Such helpful ideas April, and even though it appears to take time to set up, this system really seems doable. It streamlines and organizes our life so that we have the mental space to focus more on our relationships! I felt completely overwhelmed, my mind and heart spinning yesterday with stress, and your ideas already have begun to calm me so thanks again! My day had a TON of glitches and I was mostly a grouchy, stressed out mom, but today is a fresh new day for the both of us! It’s so funny, I feel like you and Saren are such dear close friends of mine just because of how much radio shows I have listened too 🙂
