It feels like "MOOOOOMMMMM" is called out hundreds of times each day.  With all that mothers do to help everyone else, it's nice to remember that mommies are people, too!

I didn't realize how much I would grow as a mother, but as I reflect on my life now, I see that many of the lessons I have needed have been learned from my children.
A mother's work is the centerpiece of society. We deserve appreciation and recognition, but what really matters is how we see ourselves.

Life is never perfect, but we do not need to wait for that day before we can be happy.   This article is a collection of thoughts that will hopefully encourage you to be happy...today.

My son showed me how much "hope" matters to him, but then I realized that my entire life as a mother is centered around it.

We all want to live on streets with pleasant names.  These are my suggestions for giving more uplifting descriptions to the responsibilities associated with raising children.

You don't have to command an audience of thousands or earn a six-figure income to make a difference.
One of the goals I have been working on, as a stay at home mother, is finding the joy my daily activities.  Somehow, my life has become dare I say monotonous.  It of course is not that I don’t have enough to do, just that I often feel underappreciated, overworked and that my efforts often are not working.  One of the things I struggle with the most is the daily chores.  I detest the things that are never checked off my list, the making the beds, doing dishes, making dinner, sweeping the floor, etc.  They are never done, and even when I do them and take pride in my work, I know they will be back to do all over again tomorrow.
Having just entered the world of mothering two children, I have discovered it is even more fulfilling than mothering just one! In the article I try to make sense of that phenomenon.
