This is It!

I know I am supposed to "cherish every moment" now, but I keep convincing myself that I will be in a more cherishing mood in the future.  It is starting to dawn on me, though, that the future is now.  This really is it.
My twin daughters’ bedroom is one of my favorite places in the house.  It is partly because it is decorated in pink and green and feels like the perfect room for the little girl in me.  Mostly it is because we have filled it with things given to us by people we love and people who love my girls.

My Secret Life

Most people who know me think I'm quiet and reserved, but my children know an entirely different me.

There is nothing like going out to eat with children! Yet neither is there anything quite like the innocence of a child to season the earth with supercalifragilisticexpialidocious serendipity!
Moving into a new era of life can be a bit daunting. You don't know what to expect, you don't know how you will manage, you don't know where to turn. Then somewhere in the back of your mind you realize, that's all part of the journey, right?

I have been inspired to try harder to live in the moment with my kids.

Sometimes the leap over the hurdle from being a princess to becoming a woman who can govern in peace is hard, yet we are all meant to be our family's queen!

How the example of my neighbor has changed the way I think of motherhood.

Usually I try to keep my shirt looking "fresh" during the day--especially when I have to go out on errands.  However, the smudges I have received these past few months have become precious memories!
Getting cute questions from my children are some of my favorite "Mom" moments.
