An amazing woman shares her story of how she survived during the Rwanda genocide in 1994 when she and seven other women huddled silently together in a cramped bathroom for 3 months.  She shares how she relied on faith in God and the power of forgiveness to overcome. 

How the example of my neighbor has changed the way I think of motherhood.

So my son is now 3 months, and the past few months with him have been a mixture of exhausting and wonderful.  He is the third child to join our family, and some days I am just trying to figure out how to juggle the three little kids who often seem to need me all at the same time!  In one of those moments of feeling a bit overwhelmed today, I decided to pause and just think of what I love about being a mom.  Just thinking about it did wonders for my spirit and perspective.  Here are a few of the things that came to my mind:
