This is a book full of kid friendly concoctions. Fun things to do on a rainy day type projects. Think rock crystal garden and the classic slime, but with 75 more. This book and its sequel are available at Amazon, on Public Television drives and I’ve seen a set at Costco.

Parts I Liked Best:

My kids love the invisible ink and the magic bubble paint. I like their various takes on play dough and paint recipes.

How This Book Made an Impact In My Life, Especially as a Mother (or why I just really liked it):

My kids are always wanting to do projects, and I tire of looking things up online. I love having so many great ideas, that are easy to do, at my fingertips and all in one place. I also like how most of the ingredients are available at a store like Wal-mart and are easy to find. The ingredients are safe as well--I’m not concerned about dangerous science experiments exploding in my home!
