One of our goals at The Power of Moms is to have beautiful photography accompany each post. We get many of our photos from Flickr’s Creative Commons website and www.freedigitalphotos.net. However, we thought it would be fun to create a list of photo blogs from which we can collect pictures of mothers, babies, and families (citing the photographer’s name and linking to his/her site, of course).
The blogs on this list contain appropriate photos (please notify us if this changes), so if you are submitting your writing to The Power of Moms and want to find a photo to accompany it, this would be a good place.
Simply right-click on the photo you like, save it to your computer, and then attach that photo to an email–making sure to send us the website url and name of photographer.
We would also like to expand this list to include a variety of mom photographers and a variety of cultures. If you have or would like to recommend a blog for this list, please email kristine.jones (at) powerofmoms.com.
