Sometimes it can be easy to become overwhelmed by the tedious (but necessary) routines and demands associated with motherhood.

I am the mother of three children and expecting number four in October. I received my bachelor's degree in nursing. I work a few hours a week (in the evenings) for a home health company as an RN. Some of my favorite activities are engaging in one-on-one time with my kids, cooking, working outside, lounging in the sunshine, and making lists. I also thrive on date nights, vacations, and new experiences with my husband and children. Being a mom is by far the hardest thing I have ever done. Sometimes the constancy of cleaning, cooking, disciplining, and juggling schedules can become hard to manage but the simple joyful moments every day, coupled with the overwhelming feeling of love I have for my children, gets me through the rough patches. I LOVE being a mom!

What a great idea! I am going to plan this right away. We need a getaway, but it’s so easy to put it off. Thanks for the challenge!
