Parts I Liked Best:

The entire book is amazing and one of the most inspiring books I have ever read.  I was inspired to read about what she did to mentally make it through standing in a small bathroom, knowing the rest of her family was dead and with people dying within her earshot.  The faith and positive thinking she found within was what I found the most intriguing to read about.

How This Book Made an Impact In My Life, Especially as a Mother (or why I just really liked it):

This book has changed the way I view so many aspects of life.  The way I view forgiveness has forever changed.  She talks about how she had to forgive her killers so it didn’t kill her inside and that was the only thing she could give.  I believe that is a true principle that we all can be inspired from seeing how she did it.  She also inspired me to use more positive thinking to achieve what I want from life.  She taught herself English during the time she hid in the bathroom and she relied on her faith and truly believed with the help of God she could do it.  It has made me realize that even if I do not have a major trial I am going through like she did, the principle of faith and relying on God is true for all we want to achieve in life.  Her life and attitude is amazing!!  I highly recommend this book.
